Mgr - HR Business Partner|
_What HR Business Partners contributes to Cardinal Health_
HR Business Partners are responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans focused on human capital management, customer satisfaction and business performance\.
+ Effectively balances business partner responsibility with employee advocacy, and builds a positive employee relations culture and work environment\.
+ Acts as a change agent/leader and culture steward\.
+ Collaborates with HR Centers of Expertise to execute enterprise\-wide programs and solutions that meet business needs\.
+ Develops and implements plans and actions to improve employee engagement and manager effectiveness, and foster inclusion\.
+ Supports leaders as strategist, coach, facilitator and architect\.
+ Champions and supports Human Resources service delivery processes\.
+ Understands and utilizes technology to efficiently deliver HR systems and help people stay connected to each other\.
+ Position based out of La Vergne, Tennessee with regular travel to Overland Park, Kansas
+ Provide HR business partner support to Regulatory Science, Specialty Distribution, Metro Medical and Specialty Pharmacies businesses within Cardinal Health Specialty Solutions totaling approximately 450 employees, including both hourly and professional employees
+ Partner with leaders in all areas of HR including organizational design, talent planning, employee training and development, diversity initiatives, employee relations, and individual coaching
+ Assist with recruiting activities, including interviewing and hiring for client group, as needed
+ Act as a strategic business partner and provide HR specific inputs to the development and execution of talent strategies
+ Partner with clients to align and provide HR service, expertise, insight and solutions to advance the client groupâ€™s mission, values, and business objectives
+ Manager level individual contributor role with no direct reports
+ Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ At least 5 years of experience in related field, preferred
+ 25% travel requirement to client sites \(about 1\-2 times per month\)
+ Strong employee relations background, preferred
+ Demonstrated track record of strategic HR partnership, preferred
+ Experience supporting clinical and/or operational client groups, preferred
+ PHR certification, preferred
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook
