Assist the property condition and environmental assessment managers with a variety of tasks including research assignments, writing assignments, and on site visits. Gain the knowledge and ability needed to be able to independently complete property condition and/ or environmental assessment reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs research on projects including information about the building and associated property
Independently researches municipal records, local, state and federal resources and files relevant to the subject property.
Collects and compiles data and creates summary schedules for portfolios of projects
Assists project managers with conducting physical site inspections.
Assists the mobilization staff with the scheduling of resources for larger portfolios of projects
Works with the assessment manager to address client questions and comments regarding the reports.
Completes components of a Property Condition and/or Environmental Assessment Report in accordance with client prescribed scope of work and at the direction of the project manager
Performs other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's of Science in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field and 6 months of environmental experience or a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in architecture, engineering or construction management and 6 months building related experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to project managers and other coworkers.
Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or group of employees.
Requires knowledge of basic financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
Conducts basic financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.).
Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
