EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
degree in electronics, metrology, instrumentation, or related scientific or
technology field with 8+ years of relevant experience or Bachelors degree in
Electrical or Chemical Engineering or related scientific field with 3 years
expert knowledge, training and experience related to specific analytical
instrumentation classes to include selected technique groups such as HPLC, GC,
Liquid Handling, Automation, Optical Systems, Biology and Chemistry Analyzers. To include a thorough understanding and
ability to operate all related operating and data acquisition software.
knowledge of computers and use of scientific notation.
understanding of FDA regulations, GMPs, and GLPs.
physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber,
which includes ability to lift objects weighting up to 50 lbs.
experience specific to the pharmaceutical industry R&D.
the making of chemical standards using appropriate techniques for weighing,
pipetting, mixing, diluting, and verifying concentrations.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Must have appropriate
license or certification where required by law.
Ability to comprehend and
interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying
questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from
clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Ability to calculate simple
figures such as percentages.
Must posses critical

ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
