Strategic Partner Development Manager, IOT, Assistant
Identify, create, lead, negotiate and implement effective business development agreements that help to scale the Assistant ecosystem and Android IoT platform. Maintain consultative business relationships with hardware partners and gain exposure to partner business initiatives to positively impact platform ecosystem proliferation. Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to define product strategy, structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis and develop and communicate final recommendations to scale Assistant and Android IoT platform. Lead business reviews with partners and offer a strategic and analytical perspective of the partnership, identifying areas for improvement and growth. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of relevant work experience. 3 years of experience in program or partner management in an Internet or hardware company. Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time, as required. Preferred qualifications: MBA or equivalent. Extensive experience working with OEMs, ODMs and other hardware ecosystem participants in the IOT and embedded systems industries. Experience in ongoing partner relationship management, with the ability to serve as an advocate for your accounts internally and to work collaboratively to identify opportunities or to resolve issues. Extensive project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive projects. Ability to negotiate, to develop deals, and to structure terms to achieve strong ongoing partner alignment. Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally. Effective communication skills, with the ability to comfortably interact with partner’s and Google’s executive management. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin Chinese fluently and idiomatically.
