This role partners with the Investor Services (agency leasing and asset services) business to drive quality, consistency and creativity at the point of sale. Candidate must have a strong and natural understanding of what makes a winning pursuit, supporting and challenging teams while leading them through all aspects of the process.
In partnership with the business, candidate will be responsible for the coordination, management and execution of all major pursuit opportunities and implementation of workable, value-add solutions for the quality of pursuits that s/he are not personally involved in. Candidate will be responsible for the entire pursuit process from inception through completion, overseeing collateral development, maintaining a strong command of each project’s status, while completing each in a timely manner with assistance from the project management, creative and/or writing resources on the team.
The role will also act as a partner with the Investor Services business focused on driving organic growth throughout the client lifecycle. Responsible for the leadership, management and coordination of the Investor Services Business Development Marketing Team.
Drive pursuit strategy and process aligned to recognized best practices and CBRE pursuit model, “Finishing First” for high profile Agency Leasing and Asset Services pursuits.
Collaborate with senior leadership, market leaders, sales management, sales professionals, marketing and research on implementation of business development strategy.
Drive key messages and develop new and innovative techniques to convey them to the client in the form of a compelling story.
Create content. This can include any or all of the following: writing, editing, proof reading, harmonization or customization.
Research, resolve, coordinate and message complex issues pertaining to RFP responses, presentations and proposals.
Collaborate with and train sales professional and sales management teams to drive a win strategy that differentiates CBRE.
Serve as point of contact in collaborating with functional business disciplines including brand strategy, field marketing, advertising, digital and property marketing.
Drive current trends in technology, digital tools and practices, and provide counsel and recommendations on new/creative approaches to marketing strategy and business development support.
Provide excellent customer service, including responding promptly to client requests, meeting commitments, and managing demanding customer situations.
Run pitch rehearsals and provide presentation coaching for team members.
Measure pitch success and gathering associated metrics.
Analyze post-pitch client feedback and sharing lessons learned across the business.
Manage a high performing team of marketing and creative professionals.

7 years + experience in a business development environment.
Proven track record of success, having worked on and helped win sizable opportunities.
Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization with excellent presentation skills and the ability to prepare high standard reports.
Strong organization and project management skills, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to train, inspire and foster a strong, cohesive working team.
Fluency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Adobe CS.
Experience in a professional services company preferred, and in commercial real estate ideal.
