Assistant Professor, Operations Management|
The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and teaching courses in the area of operations management, including supply chain management and quality management in the Bachelor's and Master's programs in business administration. Successful candidates for the position will have a strong research engagement and/or publications record in the operations management discipline.
The ideal candidate for this position will embrace the Teacher-Scholar model, be student-centered, demonstrate a commitment to promoting experiential learning, and incorporate online and blended education models. SIUE is dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge and as such, candidates must be prepared to pursue a well-defined stream of research leading to the publication of high quality, peer-reviewed journal articles. The ability to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, guide students in scholarly activities, and pursue externally funded research is a plus. Terms of Appointment
Full time, continuing, tenure-eligible appointment beginning August 2018.

Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must hold a PhD, or be ABD, in operations management or a closely related field. Preference will be given to graduates of AACSB accredited institutions.
