A post-doctoral research fellow position is available in the lab of Dr. Emily Hatch at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA. The Hatch lab is part of the Basic Sciences Division and studies the structure and dynamics of the mammalian nuclear envelope (NE). The fellow will be responsible for developing and executing a project related to the core interests of the lab, as determined by discussions with Dr. Hatch, with the goal of developing a new line of inquiry with which the fellow could start their own research program, if desired. The successful candidate will be a driven individual capable of independent research, as demonstrated by first author publication(s) and presentations, and superior written and oral communication skills.
